Rock Hill Capital Group Announces Combination between Big Lake Services and Beckman Production Services

HOUSTON — (September 9, 2014) — Rock Hill Capital Group (Rock Hill) is pleased to announce the strategic combination of its portfolio company, Big Lake Services, LLC (Big Lake), with Beckman Production Services, LLC (Beckman), a portfolio company of SCF Partners. 

Big Lake, founded in 2006 by Casey Davidson, is one of the largest and most active privately held workover services companies in the Permian Basin. Big Lake will continue to be managed by Casey Davidson and will continue to operate under the “Big Lake” name, which is well respected in the Permian Basin.  Founded in 1970, Beckman is North America’s largest private production and well services company with operations in Wyoming, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Oklahoma and Montana.  Additionally, Beckman has significant operations through its coiled tubing division, “Red Zone”, operating in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. The combined Beckman company has 850 employees and provides coiled tubing, completion, workover and plugging & abandonment related services, with 135 well servicing rigs, 9 coiled tubing units, nitrogen pumping and ancillary rental offerings.
